Supplements generally refers to dietary, nutritional, or herbal supplements. Supplements are taken by a wide variety of people. Some people take supplements to help them lose weight. Other people take supplements to help increase their energy levels. While others use supplements to increase muscle mass and tone. Some supplements are single vitamins, mineral or amino acids. Other supplements offer a combination of many different types of vitamins and minerals. Most supplements are available at your local grocery or drug store, though many people find it is faster and more convenient to buy their supplements online.

Most supplements are available in pill or capsule form. But some people have a hard time swallowing supplements in pill form, or they don’t like the taste. As a result, powdered supplements and liquid supplements are also on the market. These forms of supplements are designed to eliminate the taste and make it easier for people to take.

Until recently, supplements were not at all monitored by any government agencies. This means labels were vague and even misleading and the supplements were not tested to see if actual results matched claims. This means you should be careful when selecting your supplements. Anything you ingest could have a negative reaction with your body or other medications that you’re taking. Be careful when beginning any new supplements.
