Neck Exercises
Neck exercises can be effective in preventing future injuries by strengthening the muscle. The problem with neck exercises are that, unless done correctly, can be extremely dangerous. Any sudden movements, or jerking can severely injure your neck, and cause future problems. Before doing any neck exercises, be sure to stretch the neck muscles by rotating your head in complete circles. To prevent injury, be sure to perform every neck exercise with a full range of motion, and never jerk erratically. By using proper form while performing neck exercises, you can guarantee safety. Popular forms of neck exercise include rotating the head in different directions, and using your hands as additional resistance, to strengthen muscle. Resistance neck exercises can be completed by placing the hands on either side, front, or back of the head, and using the hand to resist movement as you try to touch the shoulder, chest, or go backwards. These exercises are extremely simple to perform, and can be done on a daily basis, and take no more than 10 minutes.
