Exercises

As our society evolves, the physical demands of every day life decline. Exercise is becoming more important as time goes on because much of our work is done for us, through technology. Several forms of exercise include basic movements such as lifting weights, or running. While these exercises are simple to complete, and can help the body stay healthy, other options are available. Not all exercise needs to be done in a crowded gym, listening to an ipod. Some activities include exercise, but are not considered exercise because they are done for recreational purposes. Some popular activities that are fun, and include some form(s) of exercise are soccer, football, skiing, rock climbing, and even paintball. All of these activities are not only fun, but provide the body with a great workout. Some of these activities may actually end up providing more results than traditional "exercise", because they are fun, and become a part of life. If any combination of these activities is incorporated into your lifestyle, more time will be spent playing the sport, or partaking in that activity, than would be spent in a gym. Even though these activities are not dedicated to exercise, they provide a workout in a fun, exciting way, making you actually want to "exercise". The negative connotation of "exercise" needs to be eradicated, and replaced with other possible forms of exercise. Society needs to get away from gyms, and begin changing their lifestyle, to keep them healthy.
