Exercise Ball

Exercise bikes have become popular in people's homes, and in gyms. Exercise bikes are stationary, providing people with the benefits of bicycling, without actually going anywhere. There are two popular forms of exercise bikes, including recumbent and upright. The difference is that on a recumbent exercise bike, you are sitting closer to the ground, and have back support. The upright exercise bikes are taller, and do not have back support, but do allow more body movement than recumbent exercise bikes. Many people seem to think that compared to road biking, exercise bikes are boring. The opposite is actually true. Manufacturers have been using different ideas to make exercise bikes more fun, and have been reasonably successful. There are several options, but the most revolutionary exercise bikes are the "GameRider", which allows the user to hook the bike up to a PlayStation game console, and can be used with over forty different games. Another option, for those people to whom money is no object, "The Spark" is intriguing. This exercise bike combines a television, internet connection, music channels, and virtual riding courses. Exercise bikes are gaining popularity due to these improvements, and I can definitely say both the "GameRider" and "The Spark" sound like vast improvements over any gym.
