Dehydration symptoms

If you think you might be suffering from dehydration, or worried that you might be at risk for dehydration in the future, there are several different dehydration symptoms to watch for. One of the first dehydration symptoms is a serious headache, similar to that of a hangover. The reason a hangover headache is a sign of dehydration is that a hangover is essentially dehydration. Other dehydration symptoms include dizziness, faintness, low blood pressure, and visual snow. Dehydration symptoms begin to manifest when two percent of one's normal water volume has been lost. Athletes in particular need to be aware of initial dehydration symptoms, because if left untreated, athletes can suffer greatly. Athletes who do not pay attention to dehydration symptoms might experience low endurance, rapid heart rates, and quick onset of fatigue, among other things. All of these undesirable reactions can be avoided if dehydration symptoms are treated immediately and not ignored. People who suffer from mild dehydration might experience a wide range of dehydration symptoms, including thirst, decreased urine volume, and abnormally dark urine, as well as headaches. Anybody can suffer from mild dehydration, and if you experience these dehydration symptoms, immediately increase your intake of water.
