Bicycling
Bicycling has become an extremely popular form of exercise. Almost every child has a bicycle at some point in their life, and loves riding it. If everyone continued riding bicycles with such enjoyment throughout their life, there would be less pollution, less auto accidents, and many people in much better shape. The only downside of bicycling, is when the need arises to go inside a building. This problem has recently been solved with the invention of foldable bikes, which can be carried around easily. So why then, do people still refuse to bicycle? The only possible explanation, is laziness. Instead of riding their bicycle to work (if possible), people insist on driving, and then crowding themselves into gyms after work. Bicycling has provided the world with pollution free transportation, and fun form of exercise for hundreds of years. Bicycling has taken several forms in recent history including mountain biking, road biking, and bmx biking. The great thing about the three different types if bicycling, is that they cater to completely different groups of people, while providing a great form of exercise. Bmx biking is an extreme sport, usually for a younger crowd, mountain biking is usually favored by those who love the rugged outdoors, and road biking is for those using bicycles for transportation. Bicycling has taken so many forms in recent years, that anyone can partake in it, and have a great time. When was the last time you picked up a bicycle?
